SDG 13 Solutions
SDG 13 calls for urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. With 140 countries committing to net-zero targets by 2050—covering 90% of global emissions—the challenge remains immense, as many nations, including India, struggle to meet these goals. Horizon17 addresses this through innovative carbon management solutions, helping businesses and individuals transition to a net-zero economy.
"As of 2022, 25% of countries are unlikely to achieve net-zero by 2050, underscoring the urgent need for scalable carbon offset solutions."
Our Solution: Carbon Assessment, Audit, Consulting & Offsetting Service (Horizon17 CCAE)

- Blockchain ensures immutable, traceable carbon credit transactions.
- Consulting services guide businesses toward net-zero strategies.
Scope of Carbon Emission Assessment (CEA) Platform
Attributable Emissions : Emission data for items procured/used by the user for which data exists in the UN calculator.
Pseudo Attributable Emissions : Emission for items procured/used by the user for which data does not exist in the UN calculator. This involves entity extraction and classification using AI from :-Documents like bills, photos and text where entity names are mentioned,SOPs of the organization where entities are clearly mentioned,SOPs where items/ entities are not clearly mentioned, but they are implied
Non-Attributable Emission : Emission data of partners, suppliers and employees attributed to the organization. Calculation is like pseudo-attributable emissions , but the credits do not directly belong to the organization. Non-attributable emissions will be primarily Scope 3 emissions.
Impact
Horizon17 CCAE reduces greenhouse gas emissions, facilitates carbon trading, and supports climate resilience, directly contributing to SDG 13’s goals of emission reduction and climate action.
